a little bit about me
I am a visual artist and printmaker living in Qualicum Beach, BC with my husband and two young children.
I practice the creative act of making memories tangible. Collecting the wild history of land and surroundings, tapping into the real and imagined past while uncovering my personal experience within changing seasons of life and landscape.
I create observational drawings, document light and swatch colour all in an attempt to capture hazy recollections of the passing of time. Taking to the studio to continue to explore ideas of memory, loss, history and the home. I am endlessly inspired by the garden, the continuous changing of seasons and colours that linger in the mind. All of which create the endless depth of possibility, curiosity and discovery.
