1. Do you do commissions?

Yes, I’m more than happy to discuss any ideas you have. Please email me if you would like more information regarding commissions.

2. Are you interested in collaborating?

Yes, I love working with other artists and brands and would love to hear from you regarding your ideas. Please email me here.

3. Framing artwork

I highly recommend framing all originals and prints. Watercolour paints can fade over time and framing behind UV glass protects your artwork from fading. Framing also enhance the beauty of any artwork and will protect it from wear and dust. Currently I do not offer framing services. I always recommend taking your art to a professional framer and matting and framing in a style that enhances the work. I am always happy to discuss or assist with suggestions.

4. Shipping

Please allow for 10 business days to carefully wrap and ship your artwork. 

All work is handled with the utmost care, wrapped in tissue and packed in a box, mailer or art tube. To reduce global impact I attempt to use the least amount of packaging possible while remaining committed to the care and delivery of your art.

Costs for shipping are calculated at checkout based on package weight, size and distance. If there are extra shipping charges the collector will be invoiced after purchase. 

You will receive notification and tracking when your package has been shipped. International packages may incur border fees, duties and handling fees outside of my control.

5. Can I pick up my artwork?

Absolutely yes! You are welcome to pick up your artwork from my home studio. If you live on Vancouver Island or are visiting and would like to pick up in person please contact me and we can arrange.

6. Who owns the artwork?

Alexa Johnston retains all rights to all original artwork created and sold on this website. This includes the rights to all images of sold and commissioned paintings by Alexa Johnston.
